There are four basic categories for writers - Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Occasional. You can apply to provide content for any or all of these categories, but you will need to submit sample work for each section that you want to write for.

~Daily Writers

Daily content is for the RightLine Report - which is currently written 3 days each week, immediately after the stock market closes on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. There are five sections in this category:

Stock Writeups - These 100 to 180 word paragraphs provide details about the latest stock picks in the Quick List, along with significant news, suggestions on entries, how to manage current positions, updates for stop adjustments, and potential support/resistance levels. Our traders provide writers with the entry points and other critical trading data for each stock. However, the Writer does the research on important news, key dates, political and other influences that could impact the price movement of each stock. This is where readers go to find out why the stock is a high probability setup.

Trader's Tips - Trader's Tips provide bite-size pieces of education, experience, and know-how. These nuggets cover a wide range of subjects, and are written to improve trading skills and market awareness. They are usually between 50 and 150 words.

Market Summary - A brief review of market action and the latest relevant Economic News since the previous report. A list of Economic news & events to be included is provided to the writer. Friendly informative style, Average length, 150 words. Minimum 100, maximum 225.

The Technical Analyst - A technician's perspective on the market - but extreme TA geeks need not apply! For this section we prefer a common sense writers with sufficient technical skills to convey important Support and Resistance levels for the major indices (Dow, S&P 500, & Nasdaq) and identify overall Trends. This section is written in a style that even new traders find comfortable, and is geared towards those trading the QQQ, SPY, or DIA. Three short paragraphs, each consisting of between 40 and 100 words.

Tech Stocks Intro - Brief highlights from action in the Tech Sector that has occurred since the previous report. Often includes major earnings from a Tech standout, a quick look at the best and worst performing tech industry groups, or Tech conference info, and a look ahead over the next couple of days. Enthusiastic style catered towards those who enjoy trading tech stocks. It consists of one paragraph, between 75 and 150 words in length.

~ Weekly Writers

The Weekly content is for the weekend issue of the RightLine report.

Trader's Corner - These weekly articles are educational and informational in nature, and cover a wide range of subjects that help readers increase their market awareness and enhance their trading skills. Topics cover the whole gamut of trading subjects. The subjects are chosen and the articles are scheduled one to six weeks in advance. The tone is friendly and information, and the length ranges from 750 to 1250 words.

Weekend Sector Watch - This section focuses on sector rotation to help traders recognize and track emerging sectors before they've run their course. The writer of this section is required to conduct research and maintain ongoing

~Occasional Writers

Want to write only occasionally? We're always on the lookout for interesting and informative articles on any subject relevant to stock trading and investing. Book reviews, Trader's Corners, Tips, Guest Editorials, interviews with successful traders (or even celebrities who want to talk about the stock market!), emerging trends . . . anything that would be informative and/or entertaining.
